Article 2 – Data Collected
Kleemt collects only the data strictly necessary for the operation of the service:
Email address: for account creation, free trial management, licence management, customer support, and service-related communications.
Squarespace site domain name: to verify licence validity and associate the token with the correct site.
For the purpose of improving the service, Kleemt also uses an analytics tool:
Browsing data (via Microsoft Clarity): user interactions, navigation, clicks, scroll behaviour, session replay — collected in anonymised form.
Article 3 – Purposes of Processing
The data collected is used exclusively for:
Managing user accounts (free trial, paid licence, renewal)
Validating and maintaining licences (token / domain association)
Providing customer support
Sending service-related notifications (trial expiry, important updates, new sections)
Improving user experience and product performance (via Microsoft Clarity)
No personal data is sold or used for advertising purposes.
Article 4 – Third-Party Tools (Microsoft Clarity)
Kleemt uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics tool that helps us understand how the application is used, through:
Behavioural metrics
Heatmaps
Session recordings
This data is used to improve usability, features, and the overall user experience.
Data is collected via cookies and similar technologies, in pseudonymised form.

Article 5 – Data Hosting
Application and user data: hosted by Supabase, 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Supabase is certified compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security standards.
Showcase website and forms: hosted by Squarespace, Inc., 225 Varick Street, New York, NY 10014, USA.
The storage of data with US-based providers is governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent certifications).
Article 6 – Data Retention
Data is retained for the entire duration of active use of the service.
In the event of non-renewal or termination, data is retained for 3 (three) years for evidentiary purposes, then permanently deleted.
The Customer may request early deletion of their data at any time (see Article 8).
Article 7 – Security
Kleemt.app implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or disclosure.
Data is accessible only by the Kleemt team (Juliette Marty and Lyderic, within the scope of his technical responsibilities).
Article 8 – Data Subject Rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679), the Customer has the following rights:

Kleemt.app uses:
Strictly necessary technical cookies (authentication, session, licence management)
Analytics cookies via Microsoft Clarity, to understand application usage and improve performance
No advertising cookies are used.
Article 10 – Amendments
Kleemt reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time.
Users will be notified by email of any material changes.
